The BadWolfMC Network is a Minecraft server network for adults, currently consisting of BadWolfMC Alpha, BadWolfMC Beta, BadWolfMC Gamma, the trusty Bungeecord server simply named BadWolfMC, and our server reserved for events, BadWolfMC Delta. The network was conceived in August 2016 to be a laid-back and drama-free place to unwind, get creative, and have a little fun without nuisances. Game modes include survival (hard mode), SkyBlock, a creative PlotWorld, Magic, and several minigames including Elytra Challenges, Paintball, and Parkour. The BadWolfMC Network officially opened to the public on October 1, 2016.

The First Year

The original structure of the BadWolfMC Network was, in fact, not a network at all. In order to remain Minecraft EULA compliant, BadWolfMC Beta was originally an entirely separate server called "BadWolfMC Premium," and its SkyBlock and PlotWorld were only available to Diamond members. However, due largely to the fact that the servers were still in their infancy, Diamond members at the time were few and far between. As a result, BadWolfMC Premium saw very little traffic and players often felt isolated without the chat bridge to the main server. On December 14, 2016, the decision was made to close BadWolfMC Premium and migrate the SkyBlock world to the main server, making it available for all players.

The server grew quickly, however, and on April 1, 2017 SkyBlock was moved back to BadWolfMC Premium along with the gaming worlds, and the server was reopened as BadWolfMC Beta, the bungeecord server was purchased, and BadWolfMC officially became a network. We celebrated our one year anniversary on Sunday October 1, 2017 by killing the original Ender Dragon (joined by a host of custom mobs), which had been safely hidden away out of reach of our EndGrinder.

The Second Year

BadWolfMC continued to grow, and on February 27, 2018 we passed our 500 member milestone. September 2018 also saw the long-awaited (and rather tumultuous) but ultimately successful update to Minecraft 1.13.1, during which we migrated to a new world, dubbed "Gallifrey". On October 1, 2018 we celebrated the completion of our second year online with the opening of the Old Village and a special custom mob fight in a war-and-time-torn copy in the event world.

The Third Year

Swelling to over 1,200 members on the roles, BadWolfMC's third year was a busy one indeed, with two separate server migrations to dedicated servers that have significantly upgraded performance and overall user experience. We were also extremely proud to release BadWolfMC Gamma, the server that houses our magical worlds. On October 1, 2019 we celebrated the completion of our third year with BadWolfMC's inaugural UHC games on BadWolfMC Delta, our new event server.

So many things up our sleeves. Year four will be fun!
